Leggings ARE Pants!

Leggings ARE Pants!!
and I don't care what you think ...

I don't know about you but I LIVE in leggings!!!
It is almost a blessing and a curse because- why they are so dang comfy- they do not really tell you when you are gaining a little extra weight... So when you go to put on jeans you are like
"OH MY GOD!!!"
And I would like to add that is a direct quote of mine the other day.

But despite that- leggings are pants! And great pants at that.

Need a dressy outfit??
LEGGINGS

Need a comfy- legs go to the ball game outfit?
LEGGINGS

Need a lets clean the house and organize our jeans outfit??
LEGGINGS

I don't feel good outfit?
LEGGINGS

Hot date??
LEGGINGS!!!

Now with that being said. NOT ALL LEGGINGS are created equal!!!
Let me say that LOUDER.... THEY ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL!!

I have dedicated leggings for work, lounging, workout etc... you get my drift. And I am sure any girl who is reading this is agreeing with me.
It is hard for me- a girl with a booty- to find leggings that are NOT see thru!!! Or leggings that don't stretch so much after they are washed that your brand new Victoria Secret undies become
a Victories NOT SO Secret if you get what I am saying.

So I wanted to share with you a brand of leggings that I found from a sponsored add on Facebook with all of my frannnds! These leggings are MAGIC!!
And what I love about them is they are TRULY made for every type of women.
They have sizes that range for EVERYONE and that is what I love about them.
Their brand is to empower women ( which we all know I love) and to make women feel comfortable in their own skin.

And lucky for all of you they are running a special:

Your FIRST pair of leggings are FREE!
And if you sign up for their VIP program you get a second pair for FREE.
(you only pay shipping- which for me was only $11
and you can cancel at any time!)

The brand is called POP Fit
I will link their

Here is why I Love these leggings:

1. They have sizes for EVERYONE

2. They have tons of prints and colors

3. They are thicker- but not uncomfortable

4. They do not show the booty

5. They have a POCKET

6. They are super soft

7. I love the detailing

8. They are high waisted

9. They hold in the goods while not giving you muffin top

10. Did I mention how comfy they are!!!!

For reference I got a size Large and a size Extra Large because I was not sure what size I should get. I always go up a size ( xl) because I can never tell from on line.
I am glad I got the black in a large though.
While the colored print fits (xl) it is really baggy in the waist and I had extra fabric in the mid section and booty ( which normally is not the problem cuz I got a booty)
So if you are around my size I will say do the large.
The large fit me PERFECTLY!

So if you are searching for a new pair of pants/leggings- then you NEED to run and get them!!!

Call me the COMEBACK kid! Cuz Scrunchies are back!

Scrunchies are BACK!
and I am NOT mad about that
Find out where I scored a set of 3 for under $4

I don't know about you but the inner 90's child in me is SCREAMING for joy right now!
I never thought that I would see the day that scrunchies would be making a comeback.
I seriously thought that fad was long gone and never coming back. But the fashion Gods have brought my childhood favorite back to the red carpet.

No for real.... scrunchies made the red carpet look.

I know you were just as excited I was that night! I was like YES Grammy because of Jason Momoa the scrunchie is coming back.
(picture from Refinery29 - )

Now you are in luck my friends. Jason Momoa had his scrunchie made by Fendi. And while we all love a good scrunchie this mama is NOT going to pay those high tickets.

But don't worry! I found an amazing deal for you!

This past weekend I scored a set of 3 for under $4.
And yes you read that right!

While shopping at my local Walmart I found sets of 3 for $3.88!

This was one of my favorite finds. Besides that comforter you see on my bed that I scored for under $50 at JcPenney . Click the link to view what they have left. And if you use code SAVENOW3 you can get 25% off plus FREE shipping when you spend over $100. (ends 6/6/19)

Anyways back to the main topic here.
I love how fun and fashionable these little scrunchies are. You can wear them on your wrist (I am super excited lol) or in your hair!

If you are anything like me I am awful in the mornings. So now I can throw my hear up in a cute scrunchie and run to work- while still looking put together.

So RUN don't walk to your local Walmart- and if you live near me I am sorry I stocked up.
Stay tuned to hear about all my other fashion deals!
And if you know of any deals drop them below- I love hearing from you

Tattoo- You Either Love Them or Hate Them

Tattoo Time!
You either love them or hate them...

Do you know what time it is???  It's Tattoo Time!
I don't know about you but I am a lover of tattoos!
Something about the pain, the noise of the tattoo machine and the adrenaline that just pumps me up!
I can remember being younger and always wanting a tattoo.

My Grammy always said NO! But I knew once I was old enough I would be getting some fresh ink.
It is crazy to me to think about how the world has changed and how "socially acceptable" it is to have tattoos.

Before the only people who really had them were those in the military, bike clubs or homemade prison tattoos. I know that sounds silly but its true.
Now that we are in 2019 everyone (almost) has them.

I am a huge fan of black tattoos, even though I do have one color piece.
People always ask- " what about when you are old? are you going to be happy you got them?"
Well Susan to answer your question.... YES!

I look at tattoos as a piece of my life. Every tattoo I remember the time, the place and what I was wearing. I can remember my heart racing and sweaty hands.
Each of my pieces mean something special or brings me a memory that I will cherish.

Last month my friend Kelli and I decided to take a road trip to Salem, Ohio to get some ink.
Kelli knew the artist and it was his first time doing any for me.

Rudy did two tattoo's for me that day and all I can say is
I AM IN LOVE with them!!!

We first did an arrow on my forearm. To me it symbolizes growth and to always move forward no matter what life throws at you.

The next tattoo I got was a black heart on my ring finger.
Side note- that hurt like a bitch.

Even though she is small .... boy was it mighty!!!
This is honestly my favorite tattoo I have ( total 10 now)

To me it symbolizes to always let love in.
And a reminder that I am always loved.

So tell me about your favorite tattoo?
Do you love them or hate them???

Boho Dreamcatcher

Boho Dream Catcher

So for the past little while I have been obsessing over this whole boho look. I think because it is a mix of my two favorite colors..... black and ivory.
I don't know why but those colors just attract me.

(also please do not mind the toes in the picture..... It was too late to edit them out lol)

ps. I bet you scrolled back up to look at them.... hahahaha

Anyways....
I have been looking at a few online that I wanted to buy but to be honest I didn't want to spend a few hundred on them.
So I decided to try and make them myself. And might I add I now KNOW why they cost as much as they do. They are not as easy to make as one may think.

It takes some patience and some quick thinking. I actually was getting a little frustrated that I called my mom to come help me- So I can not take 100% credit on making these two.

What you need to make these dream catchers is honestly only a few things. I purchased a
wooden embroidery hoop from my local craft store and ivory yarn. I already had black ribbon,
glue gun and other color ribbon from another project I did.

I wanted a pretty pattern for the dream catcher on the right but every thing I was doing I was not liking. My mom suggested using a doily. That was probably one of the best ideas! I started first by wrapping my ivory yarn all around the hoop and adding some details by criss crossing  the yarn. I posted a picture on my Instagram Stories. We then hot glued the doily on to the hoop and was VERY careful when we cut the edges. Next we died yard from the bottom of the hoop. We also braided some pieces, added yarn and ribbon.  I had some flowers left over from the headbands I made my
God Daughters and hot glued them on the side.
I thought it gave them the perfect touch. Plus it makes me think of them.

The next Dream Catcher was the one that caused the most issues. And by issues I mean it tested our patience. It may look super easy but figuring out how to tie the yarn the perfect way and to get every cord even was a challenge. But we did it! After we had all the yard tied how we liked I wrapped black ribbon around the edge.

The whole project took around 3 hours and it was fun bonding with my mom.
I will be making more Dream Catchers in the future and I promise to take step by step pictures.

enjoy!

Keto Chips

KETO CHIPS
that actually taste good!!!

Ok so I know so many people are on this Keto craize... and I will be honest I AM NOT lol... however... I do eat way too many carbs. My body loves them... but the sad thing is- my body likes to store the carbs in my mid section and ass... which I don't mind the extra booty but the love handles HAVE GOT TO GO!!!
Nobody has time for that!!!

I decided to look up some fun EASY Keto friendly snacks since I love chips and came across these.
And let me tell you they are DELICIOUS!!! ( and super easy to make!)
Now that is a WIN WIN in my books.

Here is the easy steps to make your Keto Friendly Chips... in style!

Step One:

Grab your favorite shredded cheese.
I used Mexican Style and Mild Cheddar.

You will also need Parchment Paper and Paprika

Step two:

Pre-heat your oven to 400*

Now this is the "hard part" hahaha

Line a cookie sheet with your parchment paper and throw some cheese into sections. Sprinkle some Paprika!
BOOM!

Cook for about 8-10 minutes.
Make sure to watch towards the end. You do not want to BURN the cheese!!!

This is what they should look like when finished.
They should have a slight brown crisp edge.

Cool on a rack for about 5 minutes.
Then ENJOY!!!!

I dipped my Keto chips in salsa and let me tell you...

The are so good!!!!

Let me know how much you liked them!
Tag me on social media!

Don't let FEAR hold you back

Don't let FEAR hold you back!
Get over your self, your doubts, your insecurities and live the life you were meant too!

Do you remember when you were a child and you were scared of something. Perhaps it was sleeping at a friends house, riding a bike, going down the slide or going on a roller coaster. But the moment you did it you were like... Wow thats not bad lets DO IT AGAIN!

I am sure we have all had one point of our childhood where we had those thoughts- hell maybe even as an adult. But for some reason as an adult we let FEAR control us. The things we are scared of are bigger than just going down the slide or sleeping at our friends house but the principal is still the same.

For me I had lots of fears. I was scared to work out. Yes I said it. And I was scared of public speaking. You probably would have never guessed that but it is true.

For me- the working out part wasn't the biggest thing I was scared of- it was more.. What will the others at the gym think or say about me? I know that sounds silly but its true. It is what I thought.
That was until a few years ago when I began to do personal development. I swear personal development has taught me so much- and we can cover that later, but what I have learned is that in life we tend to let fear control our daily moves and habits.

Last year I started working out at my local gym called Sol Sprint. I know I have talked about this studio many times but it changed my life. I felt welcomed and I was inspired by many of the instructors and students.  I started taking a few of the classes and I fell in love. I never thought I would love cycling but turns out I do!

A year later I end up getting my certification to teach cycle classes!

You see, if I would have let FEAR control me I would have never accomplished this let alone fall in love with it!

So a big THANK YOU to my Sol Sisters for encouraging me and always lifting me up! You guys are the real rock stars! xoxo

Why do we do this? Why do we allow FEAR to dictate our moves and life? It is really strange when you think about it.

Another FEAR I have had is public speaking. Now I know you are all thinking... Ya right?! This girl is always doing LIVE videos, will walk up to strangers and talk to them and is always loud! But for real you guys, I have a FEAR of public speaking.

And it's not that I am scared scared.... it is that I am scared of what will come out of my mouth. For those of you who know me already know that I make up alot of words. It is not that I mean to its just- I can't think of the word I am trying to say and some other word just plops out. Or I get into a ramble of non sense just to try and make my point. I am also a little bit of a trucker- and I fully blame my Grammy on that one.
So my fear of speaking in front of others is always in the back of my mind. And it is something that I do for a living- so ya you have that haha.

But after every time I speak someone always comes up to me and thanks me. They love who I am and that I am myself. So for that I am grateful!

If you have a FEAR in life I want you to really think about it for a moment. Are you allowing that fear to stop you from becoming who you are meant to be in life?
Stop thinking about what others will think or say about you! Just DO it! ( stolen from Nike ) haha Don't want to get sued for not giving proper credit haha

And who cares if you mess up or are not perfect- What matters is YOU TRY! and you learn from it too!

What is one FEAR that is holding you back??
Comment below and lets get you to break that fear together!

How to take Content Pictures

How to take content pictures:
and what are they really???

We all see those girls on Instagram who have the perfect pictures. It is almost as if they have a photographer follow them around daily and just take pictures. And lets face it.
1. Who has time for that
2. Who has the money to do that
3. I am not famous..... yet hahahha

But let me break it down for you what exactly content pictures are and how every day girls like you and me can do them. And in all actuality they are FUN, EASY and you don't have to
 break the bank doing them!

So lets get down to business!

Content pictures are in a nut shell pictures of YOU, the products you sell or places you go. They are more than just a selfie. They are more than your typical stock photo.

If you are in network marketing content pictures are a MUST! ( in my opinion
and here is why.
I am sure there are hundreds of people your followers follower ( say that ten times fast)- who sell or promote THE SAME THING YOU DO!
So you need to be original and STAND OUT.  You want to bring attention to YOU and your social media tool you are using right?  I mean, if you are all using the same pictures - I hate to say it- but you will get lost in the sauce. ( and that is a technical term)
And that is something you don't want to do. You want to show your followers who you are as a person- Let your personality flow. Allow your viewers to really get to know the real person behind the brand or company you are with.  Because at the end of the day. YOU are NOT your company. You are YOU! So build your brand!
Have fun with it!

Ok, so now that we talked about what content pictures are lets talk about
how to do them on a budget.
I love doing content pictures. You can grab some of your friends, a bag full of clothes, your products, samples and most importantly YOUR PHONE. Which I know you all will already have because you NEVER leave home with out it... and if you do- you drive back home to grab it off your charger
 ( speaking from personal experiences)
Now once you packed your car up with your favorite gal pals you cruise your city and find some beautiful landscapes. They are all around you! You do not have to travel far either.
I live in the Cleveland area and let me tell you this city is a gem. There are so many beautiful buildings, parks etc. I know where ever you live you can find them too.
Once you find your location you start snapping pictures.
Easy as that. What we like to do is look at Instagram or Pinterest for ideas and poses. Because lets face it those girls who do this for a living know where to put there hands...
I don't know about you but I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS lol
So it is good to look at others for inspiration- but make it your own.
Now when I do pictures I am a SNAP- aholic. I will take 15 or more pictures of the same pose- just to get the right one- and you should too!
Just delete all the ones where you look like this ↓

I mean seriously Jamie... why do you do those strange faces and weird thing with your hand??

Anyways.. moving along...

Just take those Pinterest fails and toss them in the trash... or be like me and show them to the world on your blog ( dohhhhh!)

Another tip is wear basic outfits. Something you can change in and out of fast. I like to bring different cardigans, hats or shirts I can just change in and out of in the car.
It makes it look like the pictures you did were on different days. But they were all done in the same day! Make it easy friends!!!

Another thing I like to do is go with people you LOVE to spend time with!
It makes the day fun and you will be yourself and enjoy your time. The pictures in this post were done with some of my team and sideline sisters who I just adore! I also do pictures with my girl Kelli.  The best part of these content days is that you can also go to lunch or dinner afterwards. I mean you need to fuel up- you just did a photo shoot!

If you are looking to have a photographer do your photos I suggest grabbing one of your friends who just started their own business. This allows them to practice and helps gain exposure for them!
In fact the pictures in this post were done by our friend Katie. Go look her up on Facebook- she does great work. Just don't judge her by that strange picture of me and the awkward hand gesture.

If you are looking to do more pictures of your products I suggest Flatlays. If you are not sure what they are I did a post on them earlier- so make sure you read that one. It is full of nuggets.

So lets recap
- Grab a bag full of clothes that are easy to change in and out of
- Grab your phone or a friend who just started their photography business
- Grab your favorite gal pals
- Go around your local town or city and start snapping pictures
- Look at Pinterest or Instagram for pose ideas
- Go to lunch or dinner to celebrate
BOOM! You just created some content for your social media!

I hope this helps you! Let me know what you think

Easy & Fun Hair Style- Bubble Braids

Easy and Fun Hair Styles
Bubble Braids and Twist Braids
From the girl who has NO CLUE how to braid!
This should be fun.....

Let me for the record state right here in black and white that I, Jamie Leigh, have NO CLUE how to braid hair!
Say whhhhhhhhat??? Then why write a whole entry on this?
I know that is what you are asking yourself right now. But let me just tell you. I rocked this bubble braid all summer! And if I can do this... well honey SO CAN YOU!
Its that easy!

Since I have short hair- I threw in some extensions. ( clip ins).
So we are half way there haha. Anyways all you need is a few things

Lets Prep for the Special Occasion
  • You need hair. If you don't have any just grab a wig or some fun extensions
  •  A comb or wet brush
  •  Clear elastic bands.
  • Hairspray ( ok well you dont NEED this but I like to add it for extra hold)

Ok now lets get to the good part. Here is how you do bubble braids.
Step one section your hair in TWO pieces. A left and right side.
Next take a clear elastic band and create low pig tails.
Add another elastic band about an inch (ish) under the elastic above.
You should have created a hair section in between two elastic bands. pull the hair to create a bubble.
Repeat until one side is finished.
Go to the next side and repeat- making sure the bands are even from left and right side.

Below is a video I did on how to create this look.
I am telling you its easy as 1-2-3!

Now I wanted to test my skills (or lack of) to see if I could create an even better yet easier look.
I like to call them TWIST BUBBLE BRAIDS

Now this is my JAM! I did a video on how to create this look too!

Now hurry go try these yourself! Post your pictures on Social Media and tag me

I hope you enjoyed!!!

New Summer Finds

New Summer Finds on a Budget

Ok you all know I love a good deal! I mean hell I have a whole section on here with all my new findings! This outfit I found at a pop up shop from Discount Fashion Warehouse. I really wish I would have came here sooner so all my local friends could run up and get it themselves but it looks like today is the last day for the Mentor location- but by looking from their instagram they have a location in Elyria and Columbus. So if you are up for an adventure let me know...
I will tag along!

I got this whole outfit you guys for $20!! Both are originally from Express. The top is a lace front body suit. Great for those nights of going to the bar and drinking. You know what I mean- spending hours trying to figure out how to snap it back up in the crouch haha. But no - for real its super cute! The struggle of being a girl I guess.
I will say this though... You have to wear what I like to call
 "sticky boobs"
This is a no normal bra type of shirt.

Ps. Don't mind the hair to the right.
It was a wake up and throw on clothes cuz Grammy said we were going shopping kind of day.

Anyways back to the real topic here.... The outfit.
So the body suit I am wearing a Large because well I am in charge and my pants are also a Large. I honestly am in love with these pants. They are a light weight wide leg linen pant. Great with flats or wedge shoes. The body suit was only $8 you guys and the pants $12!
I looked at the tag of the bodysuit and ya it was almost originally $50!
So can we all say together.. SCORE!
This outfit would look super cute paired with either a jean jacket or long blue sweater. I can see it now!

As always if you know of a good deal let me know! Your girl loves to shop.. but also loves a great deal.

Til next time friends

Summer Fashion

Summer Fashion Finds

I don't know about you but finding the best summer outfits are my favorite. And I love them even more when you can change your shoe and your outfit goes from casual to date night. I like to call it the Cinderella effect.
And honestly that is how I feel about this gem.

Believe it or not I found this at American Eagle! I typically don't shop there but I swear the retail gods were speaking to me. When I think of American Eagle I normally think of my high school days finding a basic tee that I wore just to advertise I bought a $30 shirt for the world to see. haha I know you all did it so don't even think about rolling your eyes at me!
Anyways- I needed a new outfit like I needed a hole in my head- and decided to hit up my favorite place..... The local mall. ( I don't know if you read that sarcastically or not but that was the point).
Side note: as I get older the mall is less and less appealing. I am your typical girl in her 30's who would rather on line shop and hope for the best- but this day I needed an outfit STAT!

Like I said before I am not sure why I walked into American Eagle but I did- and I am so happy that my legs took me there because this is where I found my new favorite outfit!
Considering I am not a size 2 hell not even a size 6 I was shocked that the clothes even fit me there. So that was a huge plus for me!
I found this button front tank for about $20 ( wearing size large) and these linen striped pants
( wearing size large) for about $40ish. Now the pants that I linked are not the exact pair but they were the closest I could find on their site.
My headband I got from my local tanning salon and my bangles are a range of stores that I can not link. During the day I wore flip flops but you can totally wear wedge shoes with this outfit and grab a light jacket for a date night.
This outfit is super soft, super comfy and I will definitely be going back to American Eagle to shop for some new gear! Actually since I tried to link the stuff I bought I already got side tracked and put stuff in my cart haha I mean come on guys I told you I am an add to cart type of girl!

I hope this helps you find the perfect summer outfit you can go from casual to date night with!

My Sol Family

-My Sol Family -

Today marks ONE YEAR of working out! That is a huge deal to me and I honestly owe it to my family at Sol Cycle. If you are looking for a place that is uplifting and always encouraging you to be the best version of yourself then this is the place.
One year ago my friend Rose asked me to take a Pound class. I honestly never heard of it and had no idea what the hell she was talking about. I was scared because well... Jamie doesn't work out- but I knew that I needed to start getting back into shape. I had gained over 40lbs and was not healthy by any means.  The morning of the class Rose texted me saying... " See you tonight!" and I honestly wanted to tell her I didn't feel good or something came up so I could get out of it.
But I didn't. I sucked it up and decided to go to a class that I had NO IDEA what it was about.

The moment I walked in to the studio I was greeted with nothing but love. A girl could get use to this! That is when I saw my girl Casey. I swear the moment you meet this girl you just instantly fall in love with her. Honestly I wish I met her when I was younger because she totally would have been my BFF4L. hahaha - taking it old school with that one.
Anyways- That first class SOLD ME! It sold me on working out- it sold me on becoming a better version of myself and it sold me on the fact that I NEEDED to sign up and become part of the
Sol Family.
Side note: if you don't know what Pound is I like to say it is a mix of dance moves, yoga and hiphop all while doing squats and hitting ripstix ( weighted lime green drum sticks) together to the beat of the music. Basically amazing!
The next month or so I started trying out the other classes they offered- Cycle ( which honestly my first class I hated and I thought my legs were going to fall off) but now I love-  Bootcamp, TRX
( truthfully I never tried it but I need too) Pilate and Core.
They have the most amazing instructors there too. I have fell in love with everyone. When I say that they treat you like family they really do.

I have NEVER in my life have gone to a gym where people know your name- ask how you are doing... AND CARE ABOUT YOU!!! I mean not just the instructors or owners I mean EVERY SINGLE PERSON!!!!
The owner Paola even brings her dog to the studio. His name is Argent and is their little mascot! So cute!  I can't tell you which class I like more. But what I can tell you is that you will find me there most nights of the week. I might be cycling with one of my girls or doing Pound with Casey or Pilate with Mel. These classes are for everyone!
I am telling you- you need to check this hidden gem out. From day one I have been non stop talking about this place. In fact since joining I have got my friends to join too. And what better thing to do with your friends then work out! ( I can not believe I said that- Little old me who use to HATE working out). So thank you SolSprint for letting me be part of your family!

Here is to another year of crushing my weight loss journey!

How to make large flower letters

How to make large flower letters

My little cousin is having twins and I am helping my Auntie decorate for the special occasion. I want my cousins baby shower to be perfect ( like we all do) because she didn't have a traditional wedding. Plus having babies in our family is a big thing.
I started to go on Pinterest- which is again a blessing and a curse because now I have a million things I want to do. I found these large flower letters and I thought these would be perfect! I could use them for decorations and they could also be hung in the twins room.
( Their names are going to be Omri and Avri)
Win Win for me!

I saw these large flower letters were being sold for $50-60 on Etsy. Now I don't mind helping other small business owners with their craft but I thought ... hell I could  make these! Plus they would mean more since I put in the time and effort.
So here are my step by step directions on how I made these for under $11 each!

I went to my local Dollar Tree and purchased 2 large foam cardboard sheets and about 20 bunches of flowers in a few colors. I used shades of white, pink and peach.  I came home and the first thing I did was draw large letters on the board.

I am not the best artist lol. It doesn't have to be perfect. Next you are going to cut the letter out. This was honestly the hardest part since it is a foam board. I used scissors and I will say this... It can be a little messy and you might want to give up. But don't- as soon as the letter is cut out it is smooth sailing.

Again, you can see I am not the best. But you can still tell what letter I was going for haha. Plus once you add the flowers and leaves you will not be able to tell that it is not perfect.

Next you are going to take the flowers and pull all the leaves and flowers off. This is also the time I plugged my hot glue gun in to warm up.

I divided in to two piles- one for the leaves and one for the flowers. It doesn't mater if the leaves are different. The end result looks great.

Next you are going to start to glue the leaves and flowers on. There was no rhyme or reason to how I glued them on. Every now and then I would pull the letter up to see if I had any bald spots and either add leaves or more flowers. I wanted to have a full look with no foam board showing.

It is starting to look cute! I can see it now.

Once the flowers are on you can not even tell that my letter was not even. I liked to use the leaves as filler placements and also to add some color to the letter.

Once I was finished I added pink ribbon to the back so we are able to hang.

And we are done! These letters are about 20ish inches long and only cost me about $11 each to make. Each letter from start to finish took about an hour of my time.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you make these!
I loved how they turned out that I am going to make a J for myself!

Baller on a Budget: Series 2

Baller on a Budget: Series 2

So we all know I love to shop. I have a legit problem. I always say to myself - "Jamie you are not going shopping this weekend, you have a house to buy" and then BOOM! I get the text from one of my girls or Grammy cons me into taking her to the mall and here I come home with more bags of clothes.  Please tell me you can relate to me on this one??!

Now as I told you before- I am all about that SALE! Even though I love shopping I am also a lion looking for my prey ( a killer deal).  So with out further a do ( however you spell it).
Here are this weeks deals I snagged.

I was actually pretty proud of myself this round of shopping. I went with my best Kel and we only went into 4 stores- and I only walked out with bags from 2! So I will have to give myself a pat on the back for this one.

The first store I got some deals at was from H&M. I always feel that this store is a hit or miss for me. They do have some great sales but finding my size can be rough. I always feel like I am making a mess. The hangers are jammed on the rack and as one hanger gets pushed to the side four shirts fall off the next  haha.  But here are some of the goodies I found.

This sweater is honestly my favorite find of the day. I scored this sweater for only $10! Retail if I remember correctly was about $30. I like this sweater because it is thin enough I can wear it in the spring and fall but also baggie where I can layer it for the winter. You can wear it off the shoulder too which I love.  Most likely I will wear with either black leggings, black leather leggings or skinny jeans and a cute bootie. Side note- Don't mind my hair or face. I legit had an oil treatment on my head and I just finished a face mask. But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do...  I call it multi- tasking at its best! Just living my truth over here.

Ok the next golden ticket I found was this grey turtle neck sweater. I scored this bad boy again at H&M for only $16. This sweater retailed for I believe $36 ish . I actually wore this today at work with skinny jeans, my biggest hoop earrings and booties. Totally looked cute! haha  I like this sweater because it is so cozy! Plus it is baggie so it hides any insulation as I like to call it that I might have gained over the holiday season.

Ok... so now lets look at the last thing I found at H&M.....

I totally splurged on this black top! I got this for $1!!! Yes you read that correct 4 freaking quarters! I definitely broke the bank on this one haha. But for real you guys- I can wear this around the house, when I work out, on those long night walks on the beach- I mean the ideas are endless here folks.

The next store Kelz and I went into was Charlotte Russe. Now I will say this I did buy myself a "gold" cross necklace there that was NOT on sale but I figured for $5 bucks you couldn't go wrong. I didn't take a picture and I sincerely apologize- I know how you all are upset.... but if you just hop on over to my instagram and you can see it there...

Now lets get to business....

Look at what I found!!! Now I know I have a million black cardigans but this one is different I swear! It feels like velvet!!! It is hands down THE most softest sweater ever.
When I picked it up I even said ... " Kelli, I am going to live in this sweater!"
and LOOK it has pockets!!!
I mean come on now! Ladies, if it has pockets we buy it- am I right?
Guess how much I got this one for???
I will give you a clue. It was under $10 and more than $7. . .

Give up.... I paid $8.47! SCORE!!!! I honestly should have bought it in every color but you guys- I am trying to buy a house here haha.
So those are this weeks deals! I hope you all run out to your local mall and scoop them up for yourself.  Peace out yall 😜
