Baller on a Budget: Series 1

Baller on a Budget

Who knew that Baller and Budget could be in the same sentence?
Now I know what you might be thinking.... That doesn't even sound right but hear me out. You can still dress fashionable while being on a budget.
I will be sharing my tips and treasures I find weekly.... yes you heard that right... weekly.
I am your typical girl- I love clothes, shopping and everything else but one thing for sure is I also LOVE saving money and finding a good deal. So lucky for you- I will be sharing my finds.

This year I have some HUGE savings goals. I want to buy myself a new house! However, I want to put at least 50% down. I know you might think I am nuts but ever since I have been debt free I kind of like that feeling. But with saving that much money comes with some quick thinking in my department because I also LOVE spending money and buying clothes.
In fact almost monthly I am purging my closet filled with black garbage bags and giving them to my niece and The Purple Heart.

This weeks haul comes from a store that my Grammy actually got me hooked on.
Good old JC Penney! They honestly have the best deals around. You can find some staple items and pair them with items you already have or find at another store.  This weeks sale is all CLEARANCE items take an ADDITIONAL 50% off! I paid a total of $47 and SAVED over $200!
* I wish I kept my receipt you show you guys- but don't worry lesson learned I will be showing receipts in later entries.

Another one of the tips I learned from the wise one ( Grammy) is purchasing staple items off season.
Here are the little treasures I purchased this week.

I scored this jean top from JC Penneys for only $6. Retails for over $30. This was one of my favorite tops. It has a tied waist, white buttons and folder kimono style sleeves. You can pair this with black leggings and cute booties, shorts, a pencil skirt or white jeans. This is a top that I will probable wear every season.

I am going GAGA over this jumpsuit! This is the perfect outfit for spring, summer or fall. You can pair it with cute wedge heals or flip flops. In the summer I would also wear a statement piece necklace and bangle bracelets. In the fall or for those chilly summer nights I would add a jean jacket and call it a night! I scored this jumpsuit for only $11! I hit the jack pot on this find!
I am obsessed with this navy blue and floral print dress. I actually bought this same dress in hunter green this past summer and wore it to my companies convention with a jean jacket and got so many compliments. It is very comfortable. This would also be perfect for vacation and throwing it over your swim suit. This dress if I remember correctly was marked down to about $5.

You can't buy a few outfits with out picking up some earrings! Both of these were found at
JC Penneys and were an additional 50% off!  They are perfect year round and can dress up any outfit. Follow my INSTAGRAM to see which outfit I paired the gold ones with.

During my JC Penney haul I also scored a new swim suit for UNDER $5! Which is unheard of if you ask me. This will be perfect for spring because I am planning a vacation with one of my girls. I also purchased a few other items that I did not take pictures of but all in all I was very happy with my findings.

Stay tuned for next weeks haul and finds! Make sure you are following me on Instagram. I have a HIGHLIGHT filled with all my shopping finds...
