Leggings ARE Pants!

Leggings ARE Pants!!
and I don't care what you think ...

I don't know about you but I LIVE in leggings!!!
It is almost a blessing and a curse because- why they are so dang comfy- they do not really tell you when you are gaining a little extra weight... So when you go to put on jeans you are like
"OH MY GOD!!!"
And I would like to add that is a direct quote of mine the other day.

But despite that- leggings are pants! And great pants at that.

Need a dressy outfit??
LEGGINGS

Need a comfy- legs go to the ball game outfit?
LEGGINGS

Need a lets clean the house and organize our jeans outfit??
LEGGINGS

I don't feel good outfit?
LEGGINGS

Hot date??
LEGGINGS!!!

Now with that being said. NOT ALL LEGGINGS are created equal!!!
Let me say that LOUDER.... THEY ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL!!

I have dedicated leggings for work, lounging, workout etc... you get my drift. And I am sure any girl who is reading this is agreeing with me.
It is hard for me- a girl with a booty- to find leggings that are NOT see thru!!! Or leggings that don't stretch so much after they are washed that your brand new Victoria Secret undies become
a Victories NOT SO Secret if you get what I am saying.

So I wanted to share with you a brand of leggings that I found from a sponsored add on Facebook with all of my frannnds! These leggings are MAGIC!!
And what I love about them is they are TRULY made for every type of women.
They have sizes that range for EVERYONE and that is what I love about them.
Their brand is to empower women ( which we all know I love) and to make women feel comfortable in their own skin.

And lucky for all of you they are running a special:

Your FIRST pair of leggings are FREE!
And if you sign up for their VIP program you get a second pair for FREE.
(you only pay shipping- which for me was only $11
and you can cancel at any time!)

The brand is called POP Fit
I will link their

Here is why I Love these leggings:

1. They have sizes for EVERYONE

2. They have tons of prints and colors

3. They are thicker- but not uncomfortable

4. They do not show the booty

5. They have a POCKET

6. They are super soft

7. I love the detailing

8. They are high waisted

9. They hold in the goods while not giving you muffin top

10. Did I mention how comfy they are!!!!

For reference I got a size Large and a size Extra Large because I was not sure what size I should get. I always go up a size ( xl) because I can never tell from on line.
I am glad I got the black in a large though.
While the colored print fits (xl) it is really baggy in the waist and I had extra fabric in the mid section and booty ( which normally is not the problem cuz I got a booty)
So if you are around my size I will say do the large.
The large fit me PERFECTLY!

So if you are searching for a new pair of pants/leggings- then you NEED to run and get them!!!

Call me the COMEBACK kid! Cuz Scrunchies are back!

Scrunchies are BACK!
and I am NOT mad about that
Find out where I scored a set of 3 for under $4

I don't know about you but the inner 90's child in me is SCREAMING for joy right now!
I never thought that I would see the day that scrunchies would be making a comeback.
I seriously thought that fad was long gone and never coming back. But the fashion Gods have brought my childhood favorite back to the red carpet.

No for real.... scrunchies made the red carpet look.

I know you were just as excited I was that night! I was like YES Grammy because of Jason Momoa the scrunchie is coming back.
(picture from Refinery29 - )

Now you are in luck my friends. Jason Momoa had his scrunchie made by Fendi. And while we all love a good scrunchie this mama is NOT going to pay those high tickets.

But don't worry! I found an amazing deal for you!

This past weekend I scored a set of 3 for under $4.
And yes you read that right!

While shopping at my local Walmart I found sets of 3 for $3.88!

This was one of my favorite finds. Besides that comforter you see on my bed that I scored for under $50 at JcPenney . Click the link to view what they have left. And if you use code SAVENOW3 you can get 25% off plus FREE shipping when you spend over $100. (ends 6/6/19)

Anyways back to the main topic here.
I love how fun and fashionable these little scrunchies are. You can wear them on your wrist (I am super excited lol) or in your hair!

If you are anything like me I am awful in the mornings. So now I can throw my hear up in a cute scrunchie and run to work- while still looking put together.

So RUN don't walk to your local Walmart- and if you live near me I am sorry I stocked up.
Stay tuned to hear about all my other fashion deals!
And if you know of any deals drop them below- I love hearing from you

Tattoo- You Either Love Them or Hate Them

Tattoo Time!
You either love them or hate them...

Do you know what time it is???  It's Tattoo Time!
I don't know about you but I am a lover of tattoos!
Something about the pain, the noise of the tattoo machine and the adrenaline that just pumps me up!
I can remember being younger and always wanting a tattoo.

My Grammy always said NO! But I knew once I was old enough I would be getting some fresh ink.
It is crazy to me to think about how the world has changed and how "socially acceptable" it is to have tattoos.

Before the only people who really had them were those in the military, bike clubs or homemade prison tattoos. I know that sounds silly but its true.
Now that we are in 2019 everyone (almost) has them.

I am a huge fan of black tattoos, even though I do have one color piece.
People always ask- " what about when you are old? are you going to be happy you got them?"
Well Susan to answer your question.... YES!

I look at tattoos as a piece of my life. Every tattoo I remember the time, the place and what I was wearing. I can remember my heart racing and sweaty hands.
Each of my pieces mean something special or brings me a memory that I will cherish.

Last month my friend Kelli and I decided to take a road trip to Salem, Ohio to get some ink.
Kelli knew the artist and it was his first time doing any for me.

Rudy did two tattoo's for me that day and all I can say is
I AM IN LOVE with them!!!

We first did an arrow on my forearm. To me it symbolizes growth and to always move forward no matter what life throws at you.

The next tattoo I got was a black heart on my ring finger.
Side note- that hurt like a bitch.

Even though she is small .... boy was it mighty!!!
This is honestly my favorite tattoo I have ( total 10 now)

To me it symbolizes to always let love in.
And a reminder that I am always loved.

So tell me about your favorite tattoo?
Do you love them or hate them???

Boho Dreamcatcher

Boho Dream Catcher

So for the past little while I have been obsessing over this whole boho look. I think because it is a mix of my two favorite colors..... black and ivory.
I don't know why but those colors just attract me.

(also please do not mind the toes in the picture..... It was too late to edit them out lol)

ps. I bet you scrolled back up to look at them.... hahahaha

Anyways....
I have been looking at a few online that I wanted to buy but to be honest I didn't want to spend a few hundred on them.
So I decided to try and make them myself. And might I add I now KNOW why they cost as much as they do. They are not as easy to make as one may think.

It takes some patience and some quick thinking. I actually was getting a little frustrated that I called my mom to come help me- So I can not take 100% credit on making these two.

What you need to make these dream catchers is honestly only a few things. I purchased a
wooden embroidery hoop from my local craft store and ivory yarn. I already had black ribbon,
glue gun and other color ribbon from another project I did.

I wanted a pretty pattern for the dream catcher on the right but every thing I was doing I was not liking. My mom suggested using a doily. That was probably one of the best ideas! I started first by wrapping my ivory yarn all around the hoop and adding some details by criss crossing  the yarn. I posted a picture on my Instagram Stories. We then hot glued the doily on to the hoop and was VERY careful when we cut the edges. Next we died yard from the bottom of the hoop. We also braided some pieces, added yarn and ribbon.  I had some flowers left over from the headbands I made my
God Daughters and hot glued them on the side.
I thought it gave them the perfect touch. Plus it makes me think of them.

The next Dream Catcher was the one that caused the most issues. And by issues I mean it tested our patience. It may look super easy but figuring out how to tie the yarn the perfect way and to get every cord even was a challenge. But we did it! After we had all the yard tied how we liked I wrapped black ribbon around the edge.

The whole project took around 3 hours and it was fun bonding with my mom.
I will be making more Dream Catchers in the future and I promise to take step by step pictures.

enjoy!
